Designs by Grady is located in the heart of Solana Beach's Cedros Design District, San Diego's premier design district.
Answering the ever growing need for upscale, beautifully designed, hand painted lampshades that coordinate with the client’s décor and period furnishings, the lampshades are hand painted with original designs created by the artist Deborah Grady. The attention to detail and ability to coordinate furnishings, colors and design preferences make these lampshades unique and add artwork quality to lampshade functionality.
Specializing in hand painted lampshades using the finest of materials and paints, Designs by Grady provides replacement lamp shades, or uses lamp shades provided by the client.
Purchase online from the artist's portfolio, or order a custom design developed by the artist who works directly with clients, or through their interior designers. In addition to lamp shades, these designs can be used as stand alone artwork, painted or silk-screened onto other furnishings and fabrics.
Both residential and commercial assignments are accepted. Painting corporate logos for restaurants, resorts, country clubs and other businesses that use lampshades in their decorating is a unique way to showcase their logo while providing a rich and inviting atmosphere.
